Technical Saving

S.A.R.A. has made technical saving its mission. Over the years it has invested resources in continuous research and development projects, not only internally but also with the client, to lower costs and improve product performance. Many solutions have become standard on our clients’ vehicles.

Patents

Over the years S.A.R.A. has approached many projects with a proactive spirit by studying new solutions to improve the characteristics of parts and increase their performance.

Many solutions that have become standard on vehicles for multinational companies have been designed by SARA. Many of these concern metal replacement, the insertion of mechanical hooks to replace the insertion of metal inserts, the integration of several parts with different functions to eliminate the welding phase.

Firestop products

In 1999 the company DOORS & MORE became part of the group with its patents on fireproof glass and intumescent seals. The collaboration between the two companies led to the development of an extensive project of research and development on firestop materials to be applied in the automotive and building industries. Research led to the manufacture of firestop products that have been patented thanks to their excellent performance. The two main lines include expanding seals and self-extinguishing polyurethane foams with excellent mechanical performance.
