The Quality system

Aware that quality is the main requirement for each and every product and process, S.A.R.A. has invested over the years to build a solid quality management system to meet with the most recent automotive certifications.

S.A.R.A. has held ISO 9001 certification for the past twenty years.

In 2016, S.A.R.A. began the procedure that led to it being awarded ISOTS 16949 certification and then IATF 16949:2016 certification in 2017.

IATF 16949:2016 Certification

IATF 16949 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems.

It is an automotive quality system that is based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard with specific requirements for the automotive sector.

ISO 9000 is part of a series of international standards that concern the certification of quality management.

It is a standard that encourages the continuous and constant improvement of the company, with the aim of optimising its organisational structure.

3D Scanner

In 2014 the quality department acquired a 3D FARO scanner to handle the dimensional reports of large parts internally.
The use of this tool makes it possible to check parts by comparing them to their mathematical models.

Control templates and gauges

As the product is being manufactured to the client’s requirements, SARA can also provide control templates and gauges to assess conformity of the part. These tools guarantee that the client receives the required quality.
